Where do I start describing him if not with those long, dark, lady-killing eyelashes? Those sweet cheeks that are losing their baby chubb because he's so much more of a wild, active little boy than toddler anymore.</p>
<p dir=ltr>Today I laid down with him in Mommy & Daddy's bed at rest time. He'd rather be in his own bed, but he shares a room with Gunnar who is already sleeping. Two little tears about not being in his bed & not having his paci and suddenly his little breaths have changed to soft sleeping ones- he falls asleep so fast, like his Daddy. When you play so hard, you sleep quickly.</p>
<p dir=ltr>He's getting bigger and can ask for what he wants. He can keep sister on her toes and can help himself a little more... putting on shoes, picking out his own snack or candy from the jar... big pouts and the cutest disappointment when I tell him no because he didn't eat his lunch. Little tiny arms crossed in defiance, he learned that from sister for sure. Stealing toys from her and running off with them, but also sitting and playing with her so nicely sometimes. He loves to play 'bad guys' (any super hero) and 'super mens' (spiderman). Loves to chase & be chased, loves to be tickled & loves to laugh.</p>
<p dir=ltr>He sleeps every night with his soccer ball pillow stacked on his truck pillow & his little head on top. Difficult to potty train so far and so busy, rarely sitting still unless he's completely engrossed in a show (also like his Daddy!). Loves to watch superwhy and mickey and buzz. Loves his new "woodee" toy he got for Christmas.</p>
<p dir=ltr>Comes straight to me for kisses when he's hurt, and can instantly be cheered up with pretend arm biting, ticklish nibbles. </p>
<p dir=ltr>Mischevious. Constant motion. SO much sweetness. Finnfinn, we love you so.<br>

<p dir=ltr>so talented that i probably had a false sense that everybody's mom sewed their clothes & costumes from scratch & "just" brought their kids' ideas to life even though i had no idea how much work & expertise it would take to do so.</p>
<p dir=ltr>even though i have nowhere near her skill or repertoire of knowing how to do just about everything, i think i can understand how she felt now that i have my own daughter. so when my sweet girl found this little stuffed lamb at a yard sale for something like 25 cents, started carrying it around everywhere calling it "lambie," & asked me to make it a skirt, well... i had to oblige. (lambie is thanks to her current love of doc mcstuffins.)</p>
<p dir=ltr>all it took was a $3 roll of pink tulle that's been sitting in my craft stuff forever, a little scrap of elastic & some pink ribbon tied in a bow.</p>
<p dir=ltr>little lambie went to bed a yard sale toy & woke up a sweet pink character loved by a little girl, and mommy gets to be the hero. sounds pretty good to me!</p>

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
They're such a visual confirmation of how quickly he's growing and what a big boy he is already. We're not surprised, mostly because he's such a constant eater, but we're so thankful that he's so healthy and loving his sweet little fatness! I gave him a bath the other night and realized that not only has he grown out of all his newborn clothes (pretty obvious since he was almost an 11 pound newborn) but even his 3-6 month stuff is getting small... so I put my not-yet 3 month old boy to bed in 6 month jammies. </div>

Sort of along the lines of Wordless Wednesday, I thought it would be fun to post some of the cute and funny signs you inevitably see living in a small town. This was on a barber shop door during its regular business hours:</div>
<img height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgcN2S5pBxvZmsHcehk2qrc7x7CBUjX2eqqNHb_icMw7cVhDQc8SBrYDzwsFM4H2wod-auqhkOC-LZ8S5bG_rbGRCLzoj_ZqQgHof3rtrILuKgDDI068NcSPemDSUK39rlbgD_H-ZCjZ9o/" width="180" /><br />
<div dir="ltr">
We also saw one at a funnel cake truck at an outdoor flea market with "lemmaide" for sale. We're having a good time enjoying our new town and all the fun adventures that come with it!</div>

<div dir="ltr">
I love seeing Kenna and Finn love on Gunnar so much! They absolutely love having a new baby brother and we're so happy how they have taken to him with almost no jealousy. Even though the demands of three can be overwhelming, I try to always stay thankful they are each so healthy!</div>

The weather is getting nicer so we've been making our favorite little yogurt pops. The kids love them and they're the perfect little portion size to eat (almost) before they melt. Summer is coming so fast!</div>

Cranky Boy. Crabby pickle. Hey you. You earn a lot of nicknames when you are the crankiest baby of your siblings as newborns (that, or we just forgot how much babies cry). </div>
<div dir="ltr" style="text-align: center;">
<img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjsGBr0mGC18U4Ykj8tlGsDneAtYBDwicqm3eLAbkceC0cdUbme4WsTrnfUK4UsEdTvTMm94Asfz3wxUY7NX58sfx60oBmgSaQMXNgi-Gv8qeaphZBIVvimiTZkW77fp2mLf7QIJ1PaZUk/" /><img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLfFMvJ0MHyjtDEDLcxDAfe8kI612fEtweD_fzJ0MBWvap8C0zTk2NoW26sa60zb3Yw33Bl5HFMh2rKpiDEqJ216wEPAHP_Q5U9q5w-6Igxc9WO4kLoTmdM3cVULoAYeABpXEapSoA5w8/" style="text-align: start;" /></div>
<div dir="ltr">
We even took Gunnar to the pediatrician to make sure his crying wasn't something more serious- but really, it's just normal newborn behavior. You cry when you're sleepy. You cry when you're not held. You cry when there's anything whatsoever in your diaper. You cry when you're hungry (every 2 hours). So I guess it just feels like you cry all day.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNIrzPGo7T7sJ0XF9qsZMmzLglS0TFrb80ich0b8ZwL1_wD_CGV-1CbQwKXxmXMZ54_zL2RZJbPsKgYZa2SaIsc-W_1nomgoJ0Arh55OTwchcxwitTz7oxB_2srTThU_4q88bbYtkSjtiI/s1600/IMG_0972.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNIrzPGo7T7sJ0XF9qsZMmzLglS0TFrb80ich0b8ZwL1_wD_CGV-1CbQwKXxmXMZ54_zL2RZJbPsKgYZa2SaIsc-W_1nomgoJ0Arh55OTwchcxwitTz7oxB_2srTThU_4q88bbYtkSjtiI/s320/IMG_0972.JPG" width="213" /></a></div>
<div dir="ltr">
But to be fair, when he's not crying he's the absolute sweetest thing, bright eyed and alert! Watching his siblings, watching the world, loving to be outside. Snoring so softly.</div>

I'm sure that with three kids fairly close in age we're bound to have several photos in which they look just alike, and I think it's fun to document them together.<br />
<br />

(Gunnar/Finn/Kenna)</div>
<br />Matt and Lindseyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09028945750807487804noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2413603074631893432.post-65876906662936810502013-04-06T17:46:00.000-04:002013-06-06T17:47:54.877-04:00Keeping it Real with Three Kiddos.<div dir="ltr">
Today I am the classic no-make up mom with spit up on her shirt. Gunnar is 3 weeks old, and we are in between the extremes of such deliciously sweet snuggles and mind-numbing screaming. We've worked out a nighttime system that feels somewhat functional, but Matt and I both rise not feeling rested, and the kids wake with full-on energy. I'm thankful that these same days when the big two were each tiny have taught me that this stage is mercifully short- a few weeks really, in hindsight.</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr">
Kenna is emotionally trying- everything eventually causes a break down, every conversation requires tons of patience and explanation, but she's also my diaper-bringer and water cup-refiller and absolutely loves to hold baby brother. Finn is physically trying- so busy and rough-playing and fast-running, but his snuggles are few and far between making them extra sweet. Gunnar is hormonally/all-my-energy trying- I have tons of blog writing I want to catch up on and photos I want to take to remember the details of these foggy, sleep-deprived days, but it always feels better to curl up with him and nap instead when I can. Right now I have to remember I that someday again I will be able to do something besides nurse all day.</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr">
At the end of the day we're weary. It's different having Matt working from home- he's such a huge help, but then I feel guilty for needing such a huge help. We're all thankful though because if not for him, I have a feeling we'd be having popcorn and nutragrain bars for dinners most nights. Most days I want to pack us all up and go do something fun, but navigating naptime crankies and keeping everybody happy in the car and everything fun being 30 or more minutes away makes it hard. So we stay home and I let them watch <i>one more </i>Curious George, and when we're comfy in our jammies after dinner and all snuggled on the same couch, nobody really cares that the laundry didn't get folded.</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr">
A book I love right now is <i>Fit To Burst</i> by Rachel Jankovic.<br />
Matt picked it up for me after I mentioned it in passing, and I read it in 2 days flat, soaking it in quickly like water on a hot dry rock. I felt so understood reading her metaphor of Mommy's energy and patience being like a milkshake, and each child has a straw and wants to take a long uninterrupted drink. It's delicious to be the thing they want and need so singly, but also exhausting. Each of their needs is my choice to put the the gospel in action. An early wake up call because one disobeyed and woke up the other. A tantrum so surprising and embarrassing you don't know which part to address first. Cleaning blue marker off the window blinds and throw up off the shower curtain. <i>Don't grow weary in doing good</i>. I love Jesus too and I believe God, Kenna tells us. The harvest of righteousness is coming.</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr">
My babies are healthy and precious. This time is short and they DO grow up fast. Any complaint I could have about the <i>fullness </i>of their constant care is tempered by the thought that Kenna will go to school next year, and she'll come home to me begging to hear her talk non-stop like she does now about everything she did while away from me for 7 hours. The thought that soon Gunnar will be as big as Finn is now, but I'll actually be able to chase and catch him because I won't have a snuggly newborn in my arms. The thought that soon Finn's incredible eyelashes will draw the attention of every girl for miles. The thought that someday Matt and I can take a date night every night if we want instead of sitting on the couch cracking each other up playing words with friends, but it will be because these three tiny, precious lives no longer sleep in their little beds in our home.</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<br /></div>
<div dir="ltr">
Stay little, little ones. Everything else can wait.</div>

I made a specific attempt at dressing the kids back up the next day and taking an Easter photo this year.<br />
<br />
This was the best one.<br />

I just have to laugh- these things are yet another exercise for me as a mom in letting go of the 'perfect image' (literally!) and embracing reality just as it is. . We're immensely thankful for a risen Savior, whatever the photo may say!<br />

I can't believe how fast you are growing up.<br />

Sassy. Inquisitive. Bright. You never forget anything! You remember every word we say and take it very seriously anytime you feel like we are not keeping our word to you. You still wear your heart on your sleeve and can go from happy to complete breakdown so very quickly. So independent that I relish the times you still need my help or just want my snuggles.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">

You are so musical- always singing and making up little songs and you taught your brother to hum which is about the cutest thing ever. You alternate between singing songs you have heard in your T.V. shows and movies with little ones you make up as you go along- it is February and you're still singing Christmas carols. You love painting and often paint crosses- "Jesus dieds" which makes Mommy and Daddy so happy!<br />

Dress up is your favorite game- complete with elaborate stories of what you are dressed as and what adventures you are going on. You are an accessories girl and love to wear a necklace or two to church (like Mommy). Your church shoes are your favorite and you much prefer dresses to shirts and jeans which you say give you "itchy spots."<br />

Your favorite toys are My Little Ponies and your Barbie dolls which you call "dollies." They host elaborate picnics together and all their accessories must be arranged just so. You like to switch them all around from bag to basket to bucket to tote them all around the house- and to keep Finn from touching them.<br />

You "turned into" 4 years old just after we moved to Eagle Springs, and your Daddy and I have been shocked at how much you grew. Four just seems so much bigger and smarter than three- you still love to paint, love to have books read to you and your special Buttercup stories with Daddy at bedtime. You just started sleeping in your bunk bed that we painted for you, and you just seem so big. You can brush your own teeth and buckle your own car seat and you're such a big helper. I can give you a task and you love to help!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: left;">
You are brave and independent, but still love Mommy's snuggles and Daddy's attention. You have lots of stories to tell and questions to ask. You love on Finn and always want to help take care of him- washing him in the bath, singing bedtime songs to him, and kissing him goodnight. You do like to remind him that he's littler than you though- that he's not allowed on your bunk bed and that he can only color with the washable markers. You definitely want to be the little mommy of the house.</div>

You're even learning to write your name and other short words (you wrote "Hi" on all your Valentines this year) and I can't believe it's almost time for you to start school! We love you so much, Kenna bear!Matt and Lindseyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09028945750807487804noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2413603074631893432.post-56810647604208521342013-02-21T21:58:00.000-05:002013-07-19T23:21:46.374-04:00Finn at Almost 2Since I've been such a terrible Mommy about kiddo updates, I thought I'd get a few things written down about Finn at this age, quick before he turns 2! That doesn't even seem possible yet. Where did my little nugget baby man go? I just can't believe now HE is about to be the big brother. Crazy.<br />

He's at the fun stage where he's been mostly non-verbal in his communication (more noises and gestures) but really truly understands the large majority of what we say to him and directions we give him- suddenly, new vocabulary is popping up all over the place.<br />
<br />
cookie (he asks for them all day long)<br />
crackie/cracker<br />
that one!<br />
ball<br />
nigh night<br />
shoesh<br />
truck<br />
car<br />
thank you (dee doo)<br />
please (which sounds more like 'boise')<br />
yesh<br />
<br />
Even that list just makes me laugh because they're all such boy words. His first sentence: "Want that cracker!" Spoken clear as day and hilarious. Other simple sentences:<br />
<br />
"Want that one!"<br />
"I poop."<br />
"'Mere Loola!" (calling the dog, and he tries to snap his fingers!)<br />
<br />
Sometimes he will babble a whole paragraph, but one or two words will randomly be recognizable enough to get what he is saying!<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
His favorite way to wake up is happy growling. He's a good sleeper, super easy to put to bed- just a kiss, his stuffed puppy and a big hug and he's ready to go to bed. No rocking and singing for this manly little man.</div>
<br />
Favorite games right now are pushing/pulling anything. Trucks with a ball in them, our wagon outside, the toy shopping cart and stroller, even an empty rolling suitcase. Balls, dogs, and food are his favorite things. He LOVES watching the trains go by right across the street from our new house. He'll come running as soon as he hears the train whistle coming and will sit on the couch to see it out the big living room window.<br />

Like his sister at this age, he loves having a pacifier. We try to keep it only in the crib for sleeping times and sometimes the car on longer trips, but if we let him, he'll hang onto it all day. We have a special basket we keep them in to teach him that they are only for "night night" and he cries so hard when we take it away in the morning to put it in the basket (especially if it is Sister who does the taking away).<br />
<br />
He still stomps around like a tiny gorilla and it's so fun to see the differences between him and Kenna- he runs fast and hard with little tiny fists pumping, she runs on her tip toes like a ballerina fairy. Her run is barely audible like a little ninja, and his stomps can be heard across the house. He growls and grunts while playing, she sings and plays picnic with her dolls.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
He is the pickiest eater ever. We get really excited when he actually eats a decent amount of what we're eating- otherwise he'd live on milk, bananas, chicken nuggets, and cookies. He doesn't like chocolate milk so far (neitherdid Kenna at first) and seems to be bothered by the coldness of ice cream). Because he's so picky, most of his food ends up getting played with and makes for messy meals. This is why bath time is after dinner and before bed!<br />

Speaking of baths, he loves them and will pull open the shower curtain asking "baf?" at random times during the day. He loves to splash around with big sister and play with the water coming out of the faucet.<br />

Still comes to us in need of kisses for his owies, fixing something that broke, or to wipe his boogies (which he will hand to us on a tiny extended finger). He is just ALL boy.<br />
<br />
His kisses and snuggles are few and far between, making them even more precious to his Momma's heart. When we do get them, usually when he's extra tired, they are extra sweet.<br />

This little big man is a sweet and mischievous mess in every sense of the words. I say least expecting because we were literally outside playing the day before in 60 something degree weather and the kids were in tshirts:<br />

The next morning, Kenna burst into our room. "Mommy and Daddy! It's winter! There's snow!" And she was right- the biggest, most beautiful fat snowflakes I've seen in a long time were falling!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

This is Mommy's preferred view of the snow- especially at 8 months pregnant! Even if I wanted to go out in the cold, I'm not sure I could have found anything warm enough that fit me. I did my duty to get my sweet ones bundled and out the door to play with Daddy and Papa, who just happened to have driven into town Friday evening to stay with us for a day or two while he got his NC car inspection done. Kenna begged all through breakfast to go put on her "hat and glubbies" (gloves) to go out.<br />
<br />
Finn was super thrilled when we pulled out our winter hats (don't worry, he does at least have a diaper on too!). He ran around the house like this and it was so hilarious, but really hard to get a picture of.<br />

They lasted about 45 minutes before it was time to come in, and everybody was happy to snuggle up with a cup of coffee and a movie with Papa. All the cold weather activities made for some worn out littles, and even Mommy got in a little nap!<br />

The snow kept falling through the afternoon, but since it had been so warm the few days before, nothing stuck to the road (or even the ground) all that much. Later that night, Matt took the ESBC youth out to the Winterjam concert in Greensboro, but thankfully the snow didn't turn to icy roads like it usually does. It was actually pretty perfect- an awesome fun snow day that was here today, gone tomorrow!Matt and Lindseyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09028945750807487804noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2413603074631893432.post-88527132074763881472013-02-14T17:23:00.001-05:002013-02-14T17:23:24.359-05:00My Funny Valentines!Valentine's Day isn't something we've celebrated much in the past... often Matt and I have been out of town, working, or otherwise apart for whatever reason. My husband does an amazing job of treating and surprising me often enough that I never feel neglected by "just a card" on Valentine's, although he usually does more!<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: left;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="text-align: left;">Fun fact: 2 years ago I was 37 weeks pregnant with Finn, and this year here I am 36 weeks pregnant this time with baby number 3, but we managed to pull together some Valentine fun anyway! We started a couple days ago when Kenna and I sat down in the afternoon to make some Valentines for her friends at church and back in Raleigh (and I made some to send to their mommies!). I had bought these little pre-made blank ones in the dollar section of Target, so it was super easy for Kenna to add her special touch to them.</span></div>

In fact, on the very first one she randomly wrote an "H" and an "I" on it... when I told her she had spelled "hi" she was so excited and wrote it on all of them! So proud of how much our little big girl is growing. She also has started learning to write her name!<br />

We made cinnamon buns for breakfast and then it was time for the little Valentine baskets I put together for them. I"ll have to be quicker on the uptake next year, I didn't get a single picture of them before they were enjoyed! Finn was the most excited about the candy. He ate two cinnamon buns, some fruit loops, a box of sweetheart candy, four peanut M&Ms, and a partridge in a pear tree... for breakfast!!!</div>

In the spirit of the time we made <a href="http://thebroglis.blogspot.com/2011/02/day-of-little-valentines.html">an all-pink Valentine lunch</a>, Kenna's next cooking endeavor was to help me make her and Finn <a href="http://pinterest.com/pin/139752394658694124/">pinterest-inspired</a> nutella and sprinkles heart shaped sandwiches. The difference this year was that I in no way attempted to make it nutritious- nutella sandwiches, chocolate covered strawberries, and heart shaped marshmallows! </div>

We spent the rest of the day running some errands and then playing with Daddy when he was done with work. The kiddos headed to bed early for Daddy and Mommy to cook a special dinner together... salmon, rice pilaf, chocolate strawberry cheesecake, and Mommy's attempt at stuffed mushrooms.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

<div style="text-align: left;">
Matt's gift from me was not expensive, but made with lots of love... a mad lib style love note we filled out about/to each other, a handmade card, and a shovel full of his favorite candy that said "I dig you," -which was one of the first things he ever said to me to indicate he was interested in me as more than a friend! Sentimental, loving, and cheesy... just as a Valentine should be.</div>

It was also fun to do a little Valentine decorating in our new house... although let's be real, this will probably all still be up after the baby comes sometime in March, at which point I will get embarrassed and redecorate! I tried to keep it simple (and cheap!) with glass jars, paper doilies, and a foam glitter heart half off at Hobby Lobby... my favorite!</div>

</div>
Well, I knew it was a bit to be expected that a third sweet baby would be a little left out of the constant and consistent chronological record I dutifully kept with Kenna and only slightly less so with Finn... but little did I know that this poor little guy would also have to contend with a packing, moving, unpacking, a new job, and a new church along with the other demands on Mommy's time of pregnancy and two big siblings! This means that there's been not a single pregnancy post about him since we <a href="http://thebroglis.blogspot.com/2012/09/baby-b-3rd-edition.html">announced it back in September</a> (at which point I was already past the first trimester) and no pregnancy baby book or photo albums so far! (Although to be fair, Finn doesn't have any photo albums yet either- I'm hoping the boys won't really care about this much when they get bigger and won't take it as a sign of Mommy having favorites or anything- Kenna, who probably will be the only one to really care, already has four.)<br />
<br />
Maybe the fact that I've tried hard to keep the blog updated will suffice- at least that's what I'm telling myself!<br />
<br />
So I thought I'd at least try to play catch up with some of the belly photos I did sneak in here and there through all the busy days. Almost all of them were taken with the fancy photo phone Matt picked out for me, even though he does fuss about how he'd be happy to take "real ones" for me. Somehow it just feels easier to snap a quick one with my phone on the way out the door after how long it takes to get everybody dressed and ready most days!<br />

I know I did the cute little "how are you feeling" surveys with the other two, but to be honest, this pregnancy has been harder on my body than the first two and I've been trying really hard not to spend the whole time complaining. While I'm thankful to have stayed really healthy, there's been lots more aches and pains than I remembered. Maybe I'm getting older, maybe my body is saying three is my limit, or maybe being pregnant while keeping up with two older babes is just hard work, but I've been struggling especially at night with lots of pain and discomfort, and my old friend severe indigestion. And the Braxton Hicks contractions have been no joke!<br />
<br />
We're also having a harder time naming this one than we ever have before. Of course, because we are having a boy, all I can think of is a whole list of girl names I love and I'm really struggling with the boy ones. We've agreed not to go to the hospital without a name settled, so we'll at least have a 15-20 minute drive to decide!<br />
<br />
Thankfully, little man moves frequently and reminds me that he is almost ready to join in the fun chaos around here. Kenna is beyond thrilled "two baby brothers," and likes to say hello to my belly and give the "brand new baby" lots of kisses. Finn has just recently gotten into taking care of Kenna's "babees," mostly kissing them and putting them "night night." It's really, really sweet and I can't wait to see what he thinks about the real deal- although we'll have to watch him like a hawk! He is quick and sneaky, and plays a little rough.Matt and Lindseyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09028945750807487804noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2413603074631893432.post-62522845808862535852013-01-30T11:45:00.000-05:002013-01-31T11:46:39.419-05:00Togetherness.It's been such an amazing thing to see Kenna and Finn's sibling interaction over the past almost two years. They've gone from Kenna barely being older than a baby herself and fascinated by this live baby doll we had living with us, to two small things that seemed like they were the same age, to definitely a big sister/little brother relationship. The biggest thing they have conflict over is toys- Kenna is a classic oldest child and likes to play with her toys exactly in her very specific way, and doesn't want them touched while she's hard at work playing. Finn is of course, a classic little brother and delights in the crazy noises his sister makes when he purposefully messes things up.<br />
<br />
This is usually how it goes: Kenna is playing with a toy. Finn takes away part of the toy. Kenna flips out and yells. Finn laughs and runs away with the toy.<br />
<br />
But for all the times they don't get along, there are just enough times that they do sit and play nicely together to keep Mommy sane. And it makes it extra special to see them sitting and watching a movie together- they almost always choose to sit right next to each other even when there are plenty of other seats (especially if there's a snack to be shared!). It's just extra sweet.<br />

Even though breaking up arguments all day can be emotionally exhausting, there is a lot of sweet togetherness going on. Kenna goes in Finn's room every morning to check on him, and if he wakes up first from a nap he will wander the house asking for sister- that's if we can keep him from going in her room to wake her up. Their favorite game is jumping on Kenna's bed together at night before bedtime.<br />
